Store builds
Zero-to-one launches with conversion baked into the foundation.
Conversion-focused Shopify development for Indian D2C, fashion and ethnic-wear brands - builds, theme customization and migrations from a growth operator, not just a dev shop.
In short
Looking for a Shopify development company in India? Pick one that builds around conversion, not just design. I'm Vishal Pothur, a Hyderabad-based Shopify developer and growth operator. I build new stores, customise themes and migrate existing sites for Indian D2C, fashion and ethnic-wear brands, with payments, COD, tracking and SEO set up properly.
Most Shopify developers in India build pretty stores that don't sell. Because I also run the paid media and CRO, I build stores around conversion from day one - speed, clarity and a path to checkout that actually works.
From Hyderabad I've helped Indian brands launch and scale on Shopify, and taken international brands like Divya Hair Paris from idea to a live, conversion-led store.
Zero-to-one launches with conversion baked into the foundation.
Custom theme work and sections tailored to your brand.
Move onto Shopify, or a faster theme, without losing momentum.
Fast, mobile-first stores that don't lose buyers on load.
Product, collection and checkout UX engineered to sell.
A store wired to plug straight into paid media and SEO.
I dig into your data, funnel and unit economics to find where the leverage and the leaks actually are.
A prioritised plan tied to revenue targets - not a checklist of random tactics.
We ship weekly with a disciplined testing cadence, so learnings compound fast.
Double down on winners, cut the losers, and grow what's already working.
A zero-to-one Shopify launch - store architecture, product pages and the landing page that does the selling.
Read case studyLet's build a store engineered to convert, not just to look good.
An Indian Shopify store needs checkout and delivery set up for how people here actually buy: UPI and cards through an Indian payment gateway, clear COD rules, pincode-level delivery checks, GST-ready invoices and WhatsApp support. Themes built with US or European stores in mind rarely handle these well out of the box.
Getting this wrong shows up fast as abandoned checkouts, fake COD orders and returned parcels that eat your margin. Most of these are settings and small sections rather than custom code, so they're cheap to get right at build time and costly to retrofit.
Choose a Shopify partner in India by testing the live stores they've built on your own phone, confirming the store and theme stay in your account, and checking that tracking and SEO are part of the build, not extras. A low quote that skips these usually costs more in fixes within a few months.
A few questions sort serious partners from the rest quickly. How many apps will you install, and why each one? Who fixes things after launch, and how fast? Will you set up redirects if I'm moving from another platform? Can you show a store you built that's actually running ads?
If the answers are vague, the build probably will be too. I'd also be wary of anyone who wants to own the store account or keep the theme code on their side. You should be able to switch developers without rebuilding anything.
