What I collect

  • Details you send me. When you use the contact form, WhatsApp or email, I receive what you share: usually your name, email, phone number, brand and website. I use it only to reply and to discuss work with you.
  • Usage data. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics record how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and how you arrived. I use this to see which pages help people and to fix what doesn't.
  • Advertising data. Some insights and guide pages show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure these ads.

Cookies and advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

How I use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and run any project we agree on.
  • To understand and improve the site's content and performance.
  • To show ads on some insights and guide pages, which helps keep the guides free.

I don't sell your personal data, and I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Who else sees it

Only the services that run the site: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, AdSense and Fonts), Meta (WhatsApp, if you message me there) and my hosting provider. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. My team at Calyx Core may see enquiry details when they help deliver work for you.

Your choices

You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email pothur.vishalsai@gmail.com and I'll act on it within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

How long I keep it

Enquiry emails and messages are kept for as long as they're useful for our conversation or project, then deleted. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention setting.

Changes to this policy

If I change how data is handled, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
