A Paris-based hair and wig brand had a product and an audience - but no online store. I helped take it from zero to a launched, conversion-led ecommerce business on Shopify.

The challenge

The brand was selling offline and through DMs, with no structured way to showcase its range or take orders online. Wigs are a high-consideration, fit-sensitive purchase - the store had to build trust, explain the product clearly, and make a relatively complex decision feel simple.

What I did

I owned the build end to end - from store architecture to the page that does the actual selling.

  • Shopify development with a clean, fast, conversion-focused theme setup.
  • Product strategy and collection architecture so the catalogue was easy to browse and buy.
  • A bespoke, conversion-led custom wig landing page built to answer objections and drive enquiries.
  • Foundations for content, trust signals and future paid traffic.

Built to be found, not just to sell

A launch that only looks good is half a launch. Product and collection pages were structured with clean URLs, descriptive titles and product schema so Google could index and understand the catalogue from day one - the same technical foundation that Shopify SEO work builds on later. Page speed and mobile checkout were treated as conversion features, not afterthoughts, since most of a wig brand's traffic and purchase decisions happen on mobile.

This is also where Shopify CRO and SEO overlap: the same clean collection architecture that helps a shopper find the right wig fit is what helps Google understand the catalogue too.

The outcome

Divya Hair Paris went live with its first real ecommerce presence - a store the founder could run, market and scale, with a custom landing page engineered to convert high-intent shoppers rather than just display products.

Zero-to-one is the hardest jump. The win was a store the founder could actually grow on.
